Pinky, Perky and Puck live at ABC Animal Sanctuary in West Chiltington, a local charity that also is home to cats, goats, donkeys, horses and birds. The animal sanctuary were delighted to hear that Pennthorpe would like to sponsor the pigs, in fact the letter (sent by the pigs!) said ‘We all just trotted around our pens grunting really loudly and I just had to have a celebratory roll around in my mud bath!’
The letter also contained more interesting information about the pigs, like the fact that in the summer the volunteers have to put suncream on the pigs, can you imagine??
The pigs will send a letter every 3 months with all their news and updates and Year 7 are very excited to hear just how their sponsorship is helping.
