They are making sense that a number has a value. In Forest School, Reception continued with their theme of friends by making a friendship bracelet out of natural objects.

In Literacy the class read the story My Friend Bear and wrote the words Big Ted using “Fred Fingers” and representing a sound with a letter. All the children brought in a teddy to use to have a go at an observational drawing using pastels. The children learnt about patterns and using their knowledge made fruit kebabs for snack time.
