This inspirational competition is run by the award-winning education company, 8billionideas and Lions Clubs British Isles.
This unique Lions programme aims to inspire children and young people to think big and dream bigger about their ideas. Lions ROAR helps to improve children’s confidence and levels of self-esteem.
Our local Lions club has once again generously funded the entry of all our children in Years 3, 4 and 5 into the ROAR 2022 competition, which will run in school over the next two weeks. The children have already established their mixed-age teams and decided what problems or issues they would like to try and resolve with their incredible innovation. In the next session, they will continue collaborating to explore their ideas, design a prototype, create an advertisement for their idea and present their work during Pennthorpe’s in-house final on 14th November.
The school’s winning team will then represent the school at the National Awards Day in December.
