The whole school were invited to bake and bring their sweet donations for the Big Bake Bonanza
On Friday 27th January, the whole school joined together on the Terrace with a sea of bakes, there was something for everyone with a sweet tooth. We were amazed at the variety and sheer volume of the cakes baked for our House Big Bake Bonanza!
Run by Miss Edsor and Miss Goddard, the bake sale incentive was part of a house competition. With an esteemed judging panel who sampled each bake, observing both the appearance and taste, the winners were announced.
With over 400 cakes sold, our Friday bake sale was an enormous success. A huge thank you to all of our families for their help and a big well done to the children for making this a bake sale to remember for everyone.Miss Goddard
Injecting a bit of learning into our cake bakes, some pupils chose to implement ‘spherification’ to produce a fantastically decorated cake. What a great application of practical science!
