Evil Pea has tried to cause mayhem in Year 1 this week but luckily our ambitious children have saved the day by writing a persuasive letter back to him!
The Year 1 children started the week by finding out Evil Pea had taken all the colours from the Veggie’s Carnival. So they all wrote him fantastic letters of persuasion to bring back the colours. And throughout the week the children have been designing and making Colour Blaster 3000’s to return the colour back to Veggie Carnival.

In Science the children became taste experts and had to close their eyes and using only their taste buds guess different types of food and categorize them into how they tasted. Math’s has also been super fun as the children have been exploring number bonds and doubling.
Out of the classroom the children went on an adventure into the stream where everyone got soaked and played many jumping and running games.
I loved Science it was the best lesson ever because we got to taste strawberries!William, Year 1
