The session started with a Cosmic Coding Game to help the children learn the concepts of ‘For’ and ‘If/Else’. The aliens kept pinching their stars, and the black holes gave them time to pause and think. Ultimately the mission was completed, first place went to Cameron.
The children then moved onto using the computers to code the Ocado van – I’m not sure they are quite ready to be at the controls of a real vehicle as there were quite a few moments when the groceries ended up all over the road and surrounding fields! Algorithms and Routes were scored, with lots of stars being earned. James earned the most stars and completed the first section of the puzzles.
