The students attended a digital enrichment session on Saturday. They collaborated on building robots to achieve different goals – participating in a race, navigating an obstacle course, firing missiles, avoiding colour sections of the arena and non-motorised movement. They used a coding platform (click here to find out more) to give their robots instructions, using problem solving and abstraction to come up with efficient code.
