Year 7, and budding photographer, Osman, has been the driving force behind Pennthorpe’s New Photography Competition. Launching this week, Osman is encouraging his friends and school community to capture moments during the Easter holidays and enter their findings.
With three age categories, (Rec/Y1/Y2, Y3/Y4/Y5 and Y6/Y7/Y8) the whole school are invited to submit up to 4 photographs, these can be taken on a DSLR, a smartphone or tablet. The theme for this particular competition will be ‘New’, entrants are allowed to be as a creative as they like with the theme, examples such as a sunrise to represent a ‘New day’ or perhaps something royal themed to reflect our ‘New Monarch’, the options are limitless! Colour and mono photos are both very welcome. Portrait, landscape and panoramic photos are all accepted.
