The new climbing frame was unveiled on Sports Day by Mr Murray, our Head Girl and Head Boy!
After much anticipation, the Friends of Pennthorpe funded climbing frame was unveiled with an excitable crowd, following a triumphant Sports Day. Officially opened by Mr Murray, Saskia and Freddie, the climbing frame is a fantastic resource for all of our children and since its opening has been hugely popular.
The new apparatus has been installed by the big oak outside of the Clock Block.

Funded wholly by our wonderful ‘Friends of Pennthorpe’, the Pentagon Puzzlewood Forest Circuit comprises various obstacles arranged at different levels, which can naturally boost children’s excitement and enthusiasm. This climbing frame is designed to enhance children’s fine and gross motor skills, balance, proprioception, strength, and core stability. Additionally, with several entry and exit points, children can easily access and leave the equipment as they wish. Constructed from high-pressure treated timber logs and reinforced ropes, this durable frame is built to provide many years of fun and entertainment for our children.
