Year 8 have been learning about different types of tapas around Spain – tortilla, gambas (prawns), albondigas (meatballs), queso manchego (cheese) etc…. there are so many, all delicious! Then the students performed little role play to order drinks and tapas.
Meanwhile our Year 5 children practiced their reading and listening skills in Spanish. The students have been reading more complex paragraphs about activities, time and rooms in the house. They worked in pairs and they had slightly different paragraphs. In turn, they would listen to the other student reading their text, and highlighting the different words they could spot.
