On Wednesday, children in Year 6-8 took part in an optional Spelling Competition representing their House. Round One was a 30 word spelling test in classrooms with words taken from a list 100 tricky spellings which children were given to learn over Easter. The Three top spelling scores then progressed to the live final which took place in front of all of Years 5-8 and the staff. It was a brilliant competition with Year being won by Vincent who spelt every single word correct in both Round One and the Live final, 36 out of 36! Year 7 was equally impressive with Chris winning with a perfect score in Final. A tight affair in Year 6 saw Romilly crowned champion after a sudden Death Spell Off! Huge congratulations to everyone involved, especially our three winners. Well done also to Aryan & Will (Year 6), Patrick and Henry (Year 7) and Knox and Freddie (Year 8) who all made it to the Live Final after exceptional scores in the first round.
