First, they had their very own tour of the castle where they learned all about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn and what life was like in Tudor times. They were fascinated by the beautiful clothing, shining armour and the different rooms such as the dining room and bedrooms.

The children also had a splashing time on the water maze, making sure not take the wrong steppingstone as this would lead to a wet disaster!

Year 1  had a delicious lunch provided by our super catering team. Then it was time for the tricky maze, the children split into groups and had the race through the maze to find the middle statue.

Lastly, there was time for the castle playground where the children (and teachers!) had so much fun.
