We are thrilled to confirm Pennthorpe has been shortlisted for the ‘Independent Prep School of the Year’ award in the Independent Schools of the Year 2023 awards.
With a strong emphasis on the full Pennthorpe Prep experience, our intricate pastoral system and ‘Flourish years’ (Years 6, 7 &8) were the focus of our submission. Additionally our spotlight on pupil voice, working alongside a myriad of platforms that inspire our children to be individuals, to thrive and relish the opportunities a Prep School like Pennthorpe can offer, were highlighted. Likewise, our new LeadHERship programme, specifically designed to empower girls in Years 6-8 to believe in themselves, has been noted as a strong foundation for developing leadership identity, and effective reflection.
A list of Finalists will be published on 6 September and the winners, chosen by the Independent Schools of the Year judging panel, will be announced at an awards ceremony in October.
