A fabulous day of friendship! All the children dressed up as their favourite Julia Donaldson character! We had witches, and Zog’s , Princess Pearl’s and a whale and a Ladybird. The children visited the Library to enjoy a special performance of ‘A squash and a Squeeze with the Old Lady’ and the ‘Wise Old Man’ (a.k.a. our very own librarian and headteacher). The children played the parts of the animals.
Finally the children painted pictures of the Gruffalo, ate Gruffalo Crumble and made owl ice-cream.
