We are very excited for next week’s Friends of Pennthorpe Christmas Fair on Friday 17th November. There will be stalls of Christmas games and activities, a Christmas Tuck Shop, a Mulled Wine Bar, a Christmas Hamper Raffle draw and a chance to visit Santa. Please find below further information.
🎄 Entry to the Fair 🎄
Entry to the fair is free.
Children should be collected and blobbed out in the normal way at their normal pick up time.
Children are then invited to attend the fair in the Sports Hall and are the responsibility of parents or carer.
Hobbies will not be running after school however Prep and Extended Day Care will still run. If you require any Extended Day arrangements, please book via the portal or email extendedday@pennthorpe.com
Of course, parents and siblings not at Pennthorpe are very welcome to visit the Fair from 3:00pm before they collect their child and enjoy a glass of mulled wine!
🚗 Parking 🚗
Please park considerately in the car park and surrounding roads. Please do not park in the pick up and drop off lanes.
💳 Paying for the stalls and refreshments 💳
The game stalls will cost between 50p and £1.50 and can be paid for in tokens. The only exception is candle dipping which is £2.50. Tokens can be purchased on the day in packs of £5 and £10 with card or cash.
Refreshments can be purchased with cash and card.
🎅 Santa Booking 🎅
We are very excited to have Santa visiting our Christmas Fair this year! If you would like to book for your child/children to meet Santa, please complete the Santa Booking Form. You will then be sent a time slot and payment details. We still have a few spaces available.
Price per child is £5 and they must be accompanied by a parent/s or carer. Each child will receive a small gift and a chance to have their photo with Santa. Please book an official photo option for an extra £2 in the Santa Booking Form if you would like a photo taken. The photograph will be available for collection the week after the Fair.
🎟️ Christmas Hamper Raffle Tickets 🎟️
We will be holding our very popular Christmas Hamper Raffle. Tickets will be coming home with your child/eldest child. Please look out for a white envelope.
Please complete the details on each ticket you and your family wish to buy and enclose the cash. Tickets are £2 each or £10 for the book. These can be returned and deposited in the Christmas wrapped post box in the Front Office anytime before end of Thursday 16th November. Please return any unsold raffle tickets to this box too. Additional tickets can also be purchase from the Front Office.
The Christmas Hamper Raffle will be drawn at the fair at 5:00pm. Tickets can also be purchased on the day by cash.
🎁 Hamper Donations 🎁
We would be very grateful for donations of anything Christmassy from alcohol, food treats, gifts, decorations, candles, wrapping etc to fill the hampers. Please remember we are a nut free school. Please bring these in on World Kindness Day on Monday 13th November to the front of school at drop off.
All funds go to Friends of Pennthorpe and to benefitting your children on projects like the climbing frame.
