This year we decided to run the visit as an Enrichment Opportunity. The morning included viewing the exhibition at Rudgwick Parish Church, a welcome talk from the Vicar, the story of a person from the village who died in either of the World Wars, independent exploration of the Exhibition and then a follow up session back at school to consolidate what the children have learnt and present their own thoughts on the experience.
The children were absolute incredible and the Vicar said they were some of the most enthusiastic, polite and impressive children he had ever had the privilege to show around the exhibition.
