Deck the Halls

On Monday our Pre-Prep building became the creative hub for a Christmas Decoration Workshop!

Children from our Honey Pot, Beehive, Pre-Prep, Year 3 and Year 4 rolled up their sleeves up and cranked up their creativity levels for a Christmassy themed morning of arts and crafts – with festive music, a flurry of Father Christmases and angel inspired cards, we have been knee deep in Christmas spirit, glitter and smiles! ✨

And not to be outdone, Years 3-8 took part in a Christmas ‘Crafternoon’ on Thursday where they spent time in their Houses with children from across different year groups. As part of the Crafternoon, children made an origami Christmas tree decoration, decorated a Christmas Cookie and conducted a treasure hunt around school to find letters and make Christmas words. The children really enjoyed spending time with older and younger pupils and, as always, the sense of community and family at Pennthorpe, was wonderful to see.
