As Beehive enjoyed a sunny visit to Forest School, the children had the opportunity to use a sheath knife to whittle sticks. This is a fantastic activity for demonstrating the importance of keeping on going when something is difficult, in addition to supporting the development of their fine motor skills. The children then decorated their wands before playing imaginatively in the woods!
