We kickstarted our Mental Health Awareness week with a whole school yoga session on our MUGA, led by our very wonderful Mrs Tso.
All week, the whole school have been making time to walk for half an hour each day together, to give the children and staff time to come together as a community; to get some fresh air and spend time with our therapy dog, in training, Ludo.
To round off the week, children in Years 3-8 enjoyed a surprise ‘off-timetable afternoon’ to celebrate Mental Heath Awareness Week. Children were encouraged to relax, chat, play, have fun and simply enjoy themselves in the sunshine. They spent time in the woods, on the Wyles’ Fields, in the Treehouse and on the playground. This exercise was hugely succesful and it was wonderful to see them all so happy and relaxed. We hope it will be a brilliant start to the weekend!
