Use of images

Pennthorpe makes various uses of images of pupils during their time at school.

The categories for image use at Pennthorpe are:

FULL - Images may be appear in printed and electronic materials used for prospective parents, the school community, social media and marketing.
PARTIAL - Images may be on displays within school, which may be seen by visitors.
MINIMAL - Images will be used for identification in the school's Management Information System, a necessity for the administration and safety of the pupils.

You may withdraw consent at any time in the future.
Please note however, that it may not be possible to change printed publications in the event that a consent status changes, such as the school prospectus, or third party publications (e.g. where an image has already been provided for publication).

Please be aware that giving MINIMAL consent means Pennthorpe will continue to process images of your child that are necessary for administration of the school, or where the school requires it and is lawfully entitled to do so.

Party list

Many parents find a contact list of the children in their child’s class useful to assist with the organisation of parties, play dates and parental social events.

Giving your party list consent allows Pennthorpe to share the above child’s name and date of birth, as well as parental/guardian contact details, with Friends of Pennthorpe (FoP).

Educational visits and off-site activities

Pennthorpe will send you information about routine educational visits by giving you a copy of the school calendar and class timetable at the start of each term and, where possible, at least a week before each visit or activity takes place.

You can, if you wish, tell the school that you do not want your child to take part in any particular school visit or activity.

Please note that for RESIDENTIAL trips and visits OUTSIDE CORE SCHOOL HOURS parents will be asked for specific consent.
Consent given via this form covers all visits and off-site activities that take place within core school hours.

Arc Pathway Consent

All children in the Honey Pot, Beehive and Reception at Pennthorpe have a personal Learning Journey, which is a record of your child’s experiences during their time with us in the Early Years.
The Learning Journey is a collation of records, photos, observations and comments from both home and school. At Pennthorpe, we use an online programme called Arc Pathway.
The benefits of Arc Pathway being on-line means parents have secure access, via their app, to your child’s Learning Journey and, in addition to viewing our contributions, we encourage you to add to it by uploading photos and comments, or commenting on observations made by us.
