Volunteer pupils have taken on the challenge of reading all 5 shortlisted books over the coming weeks, with voting opening in March to find the 2023 winner.
The shortlisted books, written by new authors, are star-rated by children around the region. All Year 5 pupils will share in the experience, with group reading sessions from the nominated books taking place during English lessons.
