Breathtaking models & broken hearts!
The Year 8 students chose to represent 'Breathing, Respiration and Circulation' in many inventive ways!

In their next Science lesson, the class combined to physically demonstrate how oxygen and carbon dioxide are transported around the body. After demonstrating the circulation of blood carrying oxygen and carbon dioxide, the students carried out a dissection of a lamb’s heart. They examined the build up of fat around the heart, located the main arteries and veins, identified the different chambers and even tugged at their heart strings ❤️
