The Year 4 children have been experimenting with different types of drinks and eggs! The shell of an egg is very similar to the enamel on our teeth, making eggs the perfect device for this experiment.

The children had six eggs, and they put the eggs in water, vinegar, cola, milk, orange juice, and blackcurrant cordial. We then left the eggs in the liquids for five days and wrote up the conclusions.

Spoiler alter, don’t drink vinegar unless you want bouncy, rubbery teeth!
