Today, we’re delighted to welcome Ellie Olds, Holroyd Howe’s Company Nutritionist, and our dedicated on-site Catering Manager, Emma Park, as they lead engaging and educational sessions for students from Year 1 to Year 8 in honour of Nutrition Eatducate Day!
This special day is all about learning, exploring, and celebrating nutrition in a fun and interactive way. Through hands-on activities and tasting sessions, students are discovering the importance of healthy eating and embracing new flavours with enthusiasm.
The Year 1 session kicked off with excitement as the children eagerly explored a variety of new tastes. One of the highlights? Ginger and orange shots! To our surprise, these zesty flavours were a big hit among the young adventurers.
While the bold flavours of ginger might have been a bit “spicy” for some, a banana, Greek yogurt, and pineapple smoothie swooped in to save the day, offering a creamy and sweet balance that everyone loved.
From Year 1 to Year 8, students are diving into the world of nutrition with curiosity and creativity, today. Each session is tailored to their age group, making learning about healthy eating both accessible and enjoyable.
