This week, the Year 2 children hopped aboard a pirate ship and sailed away, headed East to China. They learnt about the great wall, the red flag with yellow stars, and had a go at using chop sticks and created a fact file!
There is so much to learn about this fascinating country. Did you know that most of the world’s toys are made in China?
The peak of the lesson was seeing how different Chinese script is compared to writing using the alphabet! The children found it tricky but so much fun to write their names!
