The sun was shinning at the Country Championships on Friday and Pennthorpe competed against a strong field of lots of other very competitive schools from all across Sussex. All the children were amazing but a particular mention goes to the following who all came top 5 in their event – a great achievement!
Harriet – 4th in Hurdles
Niamh – 3rd in Long Jump
Romilly – 5th in the 800m
Zahira – 5th in Discus
Ellie and Osman – both 5th in 200m
Samuel W – 5th in 100m
William D – 5th in Javelin
Johnny – 5th in 800m
Tristan – 5th in both Discus and Shotput
The children involved had an amazing day and should be super proud of themselves.
