What an exciting morning our Reception children had on their canal trip. This had been postponed, since the Autumn, due to a shortage of water in the canal.
The day started with the children jumping on the Pennthorpe buses and they couldn’t believe how short the journey was to the canal! The children climbed aboard and loved the sound of the motor as the barge cruised down the canal. There were so many things to see and to spot along the way. The children learned all about the Locks and how they empty and fill up.
