Pennthorpe have been celebrating Diversity Week through rainbows, music, singing and dancing. We kick started the week with a huddle on how we are all diverse and this should be celebrated.

On Wednesday we had a Rainbow dress up day, the children dressed in all sorts of colours then had a disco fashion show at break time to show off their outfits. And on Thursday and Friday everyone sung their hearts out and danced their socks off during our ‘Dance Like Nobody’s Watching’ Breaktime Discos!

Today the children have rounded off a fantastic week with a whole school rainbow craft community time, where all year groups came together and designed self portraits. All these beautiful creations will be displayed when we come back in September.

The Pennthorpe community have enjoyed celebrating what a wonderful thing diversity is!
