Children in Reception have been doubling numbers in Maths this week using lots of manipulative to help them. We have worked on doubles to 8 using numicon, gogos, weighty teddies, multi link and even some of our toys.
The Reception children have also been learning about polar animals and their habitats comparing them to Rudgwick. In Forest School it may have been frosty but the children enjoyed a hot chocolate and warmed up with a cosy story back in class.
