This is a designated time for small groups of Year 5 and 6 to come together during a morning break to relax in comfort with a mug of hot chocolate and lead their own discussions on matters that are important to them. Hosted by Mrs Murray and Mrs Riley, the children enjoy this dedicated social time together and the opportunity to chat about school life, friendships or even current affairs!
This week, the Year 5 boys enjoyed their session in the Octopod and used the opportunity to chat about playtime and offer some solutions to the fair use of all the equipment across the year groups – colour coded footballs are a strong favourite!
In addition to this, our Year 8 Student Wellbeing Ambassadors hosted their own session with the Year 6 girls as part of Pennthorpe’s LeadHERship programme.
