Last week we were treated to a day full of fantastic performances, and from such a wide variety of genres, from Classical, to Folk, to Rap. We welcomed Ruth Williams, Head of Music at Cranleigh Prep School, to adjudicate this year’s competition, and we had a brilliant start to the day listening to some stunning performances from our year 7s and 8s. The Pre-Prep children followed, with lots of students very bravely singing and playing solos. We then moved on to years 3-6, and we heard some lovely family ensemble performances. There were over 100 performances during the day, with lots of House Points awarded. The winners of this year’s competition were Gaskyns, with 120 points overall. Well done to Gaskyns, and a huge well done to all who took part!
