Let’s Go to Legoland!

Year 3 venture to Legoland to have a dedicated lesson all about Mayan Civilization in the Lego classroom.

On Tuesday morning, Miss Edsor, Mr Bennett, Mr Marler and Mrs Stanbridge took a very excited Year 3 to Legoland! As they enthusiastically climbed aboard the Pennthorpe minibuses to head to Windsor, the day ahead was full of activities.

Bringing their learning to life, once the children had arrived the day started with an interactive, informative and fun session all about Maya people and their lives. The children applied their learning from school, and from this session, to create Mayan inspired Lego creations.

The workshop was followed by a few rides at the park, which was very quiet, so the group took full advantage of no queues! Such a fun day and the children loved every moment. Lots of tired faces on the minibuses heading home from Windsor, we think the teachers probably slept as well as the children that night!
