The discussion is always lively whether we’ve liked or loathed what we’re reading!
For the Summer holidays we’ve chosen 3 very different books and hopefully there’s something for every taste. Read one, read them all, but either way come and join us on Wednesday 13th September to talk about them and anything else you’ve read over the break.
Book Club Summer Reads are:
Yellowface by Rebecca F. Kuang (One of 2023’s most exciting new releases and Sunday Times Bestseller)
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr (2015 Pulitzer Prize winning novel with Netflix Series coming this Autumn)
Mad Honey co-authored by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan (A gripping murder-mystery written by two stellar contemporary authors)
Please spread the word to anyone in the Pennthorpe community you think would like to join us – it’s very relaxed and we hope to see lots of you in September. You can get in touch via the Book Club Facebook Page for more info.
Happy holidays and happy reading!
