Mrs Page puts our Reception class through their paces
Our Reception class relished the challenges set by Mrs Page during this week’s PE session. With a focus on fundamental movement and gymnastics, the children loved to run around and engage in their two hours of physical literacy. Taking place under the shelter of our Sports Hall, the Reception children climbed the boulders, snaked under the benches, jumped over the hurdles and explored the expanse of the hall.

As part of their physical development, the lesson concentrated on movement; running, jumping, rolling and general movement on and over equipment. The objective of Mrs Page’s lesson was for each child to explore how their body moves; how with lots of practice, we can become competent and confident movers, too. This will serve them well as they progress through their education.
