Pennthorpe Eagles travelled to Longacre on a chilly evening to face the Longacre Mums’ netball team in a thrilling match that commenced at 8pm. Featuring four quarters, each lasting 10 minutes, and with a strong squad of 14 players; positions were rotated each quarter, ensuring everyone had a chance to play.

Regrettably, Longacre emerged victorious with an overall score of 12-17. Despite the defeat, our team secured victories in two quarters, showcasing impressive teamwork among the Mums. Even with one of our newest members on the court, we dominated ball possession and took numerous shots, though a few unfortunate misses occurred. Notably, their Goal Attack, a PE teacher, proved formidable in securing all of their goals.

Undeterred, we plan to extend an invitation for a rematch at Pennthorpe in the near future. Stay tuned for updates!
