On Thursday, the school was awash with an amazing range of characters from a huge variety of books. Children from Honey Pot to Year 8 dressed up as their favourite book characters and enjoyed a day of book themed fun. Year 3 to 8 even took part in a Q&A session with world famous author and 2003 Children’s Laureate, Sir Michael Morpurgo.
All children also received a World Book Day Book Token, which they can go out and spend this weekend. For information on how and where to use it click here. Tokens are valid until 26th March.
The staff also threw themselves headfirst into dressing up, with some very creative costumes on display!
