There was much excitement surrounding their book choices, whether to choose a book to read with someone at home (thank you for your support with this!) or a book to read independently, the children went away happy with their choices.

Reception Are Now Issued Library Books!
After a discussion with our new librarian Mrs Butcher, the Reception children took out a school library book for the first time!
We all felt a sense of occasion and I have decided to award the children all a Housepoint for their enthusiasm, engagement in reading and their good behaviour during the choosing and issuing process. Books should be brought back to the library on Thursdays, ideally one week after they are issued, for renewing/returning.
