The pupils then made their own indicator and combined this with acid, alkali, water and Universal Indicator in order to create a palette of colour which was then used to ‘paint’ a chameleon!
Next, the group then made the chameleon change colour by using acid and alkali sprays. The students also made some bath bombs using baking powder, cream of tartar and a variety of food colouring and different essences!
