As part of our Science Spotlight week, on Friday 19th May we’re opening up our Science labs to our parents!
This is a hands on and fun activity for parents, to take on the roles of forensics experts to solve a mystery case using techniques and equipment that our children experience in school each day. You’ll get to try out a range of forensic science techniques, including use of Force Meters, Bunsens, Chemical Analysis, Flame Tests, Fingerprinting, Microscopy and Separation techniques to unravel the story and solve the mystery.
When you arrive at the crime scene there’ll be lots of evidence for you to review, and questions to ask….
- Could Benny Factor have anything to gain from this…
- Would Helen Hywater have carried out the crime regardless of the consequences…
- Could Polly C Holder benefit from the crime…
There are two morning sessions available, both will include a brunch at 10:30am:
- 8:30am – 11:00am
- 10:30am – 1:00pm.
Places are limited, and there is no additional cost associated with this offering, so please reserve your place below as soon as possible to guarantee your place!
