On Monday parents of children in Years 1 & 2 joined us in the Pre-Prep to participate and see how we teach Phonics at Pennthorpe. The parents were supported by their children on how to use their Fred fingers and how to identify tricky special friend sounds.
The children followed the lesson through by reading stories, holding sentences, answering quizzes and played lots of different games.
