The children worked collaboratively to create sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks using starburst sweets! They had a brilliant time squashing the sweets into layers to make sedimentary rock, rolling them between their hands to warm them up into metamorphic rock, and heating them in the microwave to replicate igneous rock.
