On Thursday 24th March at 2am,  Ethan along with his Dad, James, will be setting off to climb Snowdon. Their climb is for leading children’s hospice charity ‘Shooting Star Children’s Hospice’ who do phenomenal work caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Ethan has been busy training ahead of the climb with his most recent training session marked by a hilly 4 mile walk from Ockley to the top of Leith Hill and a 7 mile walk from Rowhook to Cranleigh.

With Snowdon standing at 1085m above sea level, Ethan will be well equipped for the task wearing lots of layers including three pairs of socks! the climb will take approximately 4 hours with the aim to get to the summit by 6am and a 2.5 hour descent to the bottom. Ethan is most looking forward to taking a photo with his Dad to mark the incredible achievement.

Their original target was £400 which they have, rather incredibly, already exceeded with the fundraising currently standing at £1656. Should you wish to support Ethan in his incredible quest to raise money for this worthy cause, the JustGiving link is available, here.

Good luck, Ethan! You’ll be amazing.
