The transformation of the Sports Hall in to an enchanted ballroom was breathtaking. The 165 guests came and partied hard, raising money for the amazing Little Roo Neonatal Fund and the Friends of Pennthorpe, to enable us to once again fund some special projects around the school.
We would like to thank everyone who got involved, our amazing team of volunteers for whom it was a 72 hour mammoth operation – they climbed trees, climbed scaffolding, and dressed the hall to make it look amazing, the committee who begged, pleaded and borrowed from anyone who crossed their paths in the last six months, the school for supporting all our crazy requests, our suppliers for being incredibly generous, our prize donors, too many to mention in person, who gave willingly and finally all of you who came and spent and partied to help us raise money. We can only do it every two years because it takes that long to recover but it’s always worth it and reminds us of what an amazing school community we have.
