Last Thursday, the Year 1 children were immersed in history as they explored the castle and learnt about how people lived in Tudor times, from what they ate, where they slept and how they went to the toilet!! They discovered the water maze and enjoyed setting off the fountains to get each other soaking. The children investigated the castle playground and pretended to be knights and royalty. What a fantastic day of learning and exploring!
