This week the Reception children learnt all about the first moon landing and read the book ‘Moon Landing’. The children walked on sponges and bounced balloons to simulate weightlessness. They created pictures of the moon using crumpets, tin foil, salt and designed their own astronaut suit and learnt about the Union Jack and how it would feel to put our flag on the moon. The children took their teddies into space and moved to the music by Holst. What a busy week!
