On Tuesday 6th June, four young mathematicians faced their own D-Day! Chosen to represent Pennthorpe in an ‘open’ Maths competition, Mr Mac and Mr Lindfield accompanied this fabulous four to Worth School, yesterday. Representing both Year 5 and Year 6, all four boys were excited at the prospect of competing with other schools.
With the sunshine blazing, the Maths challenges were just as hot and varied, which each student tackled admirably – achieving a magnificent victory over the other schools!
