On Monday morning, the Year 1 children were surprised with a golden egg! The children have been looking after the egg all week, writing descriptive diary entries about what the egg looked like and how it made them feel when they found the egg.
BUT on Wednesday the egg went missing! The children created lost posters and will be rewarding anyone that finds the golden egg!
The inspiration for the golden egg has come from the children’s book “The Egg” by M. P. Robertson, a heart-warming tale about the surprising friendship between a young boy and the dragon, click here to hear the story.
