In Reception this half term the topic is “What makes a good farmer?” The children have already learnt about what animals need to remain happy and healthy. They then interviewed a farmer to join the team at Farmer Ducks farm. The children have learnt how to shear a sheep and understand that the fleece needs to be washed, carded spun and dyed before it came be knitted into a woolly hat.
This week the class have placed eggs in the incubator and in 19 day’s time will have some baby chicks!
