This week, the focus has been on how to give and understand directions. On Thursday afternoon, the students used the paths at the front of the school as a pretend road system with various “places in the town” which they had to directed each other to. The class worked collaboratively writing dialogues with accurate directions and then each group performed their role-play. The pupils are working towards completing an end of module project in which they will research and present information about different cities in the French-speaking world. They will also learn how to make social arrangements in the target language.
