Armed with waterproofs and wellies, the Year 6 pupils raced into the woods this week for an exciting, creative, and collaborative morning together. In glorious sunshine, they undertook the ’10 things to do’ task, specially created by Mr Davis for them.

Showcasing their creativity and teamwork, an array of impressive and unique dens were constructed, including lookout points, boot cleaners, and cooking zones. Logs and leaves were lifted to hunt for insects and fungi, and many tested their balance as they climbed trees before wading along the stream.

The morning came to end with delicious toasted marshmallows on their own whittled sticks.
